Welcome to the Culburra Beach Progress Association Inc.’s Website.
We are a registered community organisation (Culburra Beach Progress Association) formed to enrich our young peoples life experience in a community with abundant wildlife, rich resources and nature at our doorstep. As Principal Consulatitive Body for Community of Culburra Beach, our aim is to promote the towns growth and and help make Culburra Beach the best place to live and bring up a family.The need for progress is vital to a community, therefore we will promote and support any development of a sustainable nature.
As a regional area our community and young people face different challenges to understand their environment and discover where their path may lead in the wider world community.
The Culburra Beach Progress Association was formed in the 1990s to assist is progressing the area and furthering the vision of Sir Walter Burleigh Griffin for Culburra as a regional centre to surrounding satellite townships.
We aim to educate and facilitate community support for young and old to achieve their goals and connect with their past and future by forming partnerships with :
- Indigenous Community Members
- Business Community Members
- Educators
- Health forums and activities
- Regional partnerships with government bodies
